Oh! Minor update:

So I’ve started looking at houses a little to buy in the event I end up here in Bartlesville. So far, I like what I’m seeing! The jist is basically if you’re willing to settle for older homes, you can get unnecessary square footage. This is exciting for me, obviously, because I’m a penny pincher. Or I want the best bang for my buck. Or whatever. Point is, I’m going to try & skip the “starter home” phase and go straight into the “mid-sized home where you can potentially raise a litter of brats if you want to in 5-10 years” phase. I’ll keep you plenty updated on what I find around town. I’m excited to really start looking!

In other news, I’m traveling to College Station tomorrow to see Daniel! I’m pretty darn excited because, although it’s only been a month and a half, we haven’t really seen each other since we’ve been engaged. It’ll be nice to look at houses with him and hammer out some details pertaining to my future job assignment preferences, wedding things, etc.

In the meantime, I’m naturally doing all of these fun and entertaining things in my head and on my phone (who needs battery life, anyway?) instead of cleaning, although I have to give myself some credit because I am actually packed (and with 12 hours to spare)! Tomorrow is going to come super early (hello, 4am wake up?) so, naturally, I’m going to a board game night with some coworkers instead of getting a good night’s rest.

That’s just how I roll. 😉
